Overview
A regional automotive services brand partnered with FOGO Solutions to execute a five-month geofencing campaign targeting competitor locations and key residential neighborhoods. The goal was to increase mobile brand exposure and drive physical visits to offices across Louisiana using real-time location-based advertising.

Objectives

  • Reach customers near DMV alternatives, auto dealers, and notary offices

Geofencing Strategy

FOGO deployed mobile display campaigns built around three core geofencing tactics:

  • Targeting over a dozen competitor locations, including vehicle registration centers and local DMVs
  • Delivering geo-triggered ads with creative messages like “No Appointments Needed” and “Same Day Title Service”
  • Tracking in-store visits using mobile device ID attribution and comparing performance by ZIP code, city, and location

  • Average CTR: 0.07%
  • Total Unique Responders (Devices Visiting Locations): 928
  • Total Verified Visits: 1,172
  • Top Cities by Response Volume:
    – New Orleans: 169,020 impressions, 72,024+ visits
    – Chalmette: Over 138 visits, 35,067+ impressions
    – Metairie: Consistently top 3 in foot traffic from May through September

Performance Highlights

  • July was the strongest month by engagement, generating 169 clicks from 177,863 impressions at a 0.10% CTR
  • Best creative performance: “Same Day Service” ads with 0.10–0.24% CTR depending on version
  • Device IDs from competitor zones consistently showed high conversion into verified walk-in traffic
